At GATE 44 artists and amateurs can work in etching, photo-etching, woodcut, screen-printing and digital printing.

PRINTING

We provide edition printing and assistance in every step of the creative process Works of art are refined according to various printmaking techniques available in the print shop.

OPEN ACCESS

Artists who wish to work independently can rent a printing station. Available for their use is a printing press, a work station, acid baths/aquatint, rags, tarlatan and basic shop materials and tools. Paper and metal plates or wood can be provided but are not included in the service fee.

Born on November 12 1987. Received a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Exhibiting artist. Focused on establishing bridges between traditional forms of art and new media.

MONIA PAVONE

Born in Pescara, a master printmaker, graduated at DAMS, Bologna, she was Giorgio Upiglio’s main printmaker for more than 15 years and she worked as a co-curator in several exhibitions in his name. She loves book-binding, enjoys sewing and inventing new solutions for each new book.
